{10-11} Carlton House Terrace is reopening its accredited list for the first time since 2018 and after several challenging years for the industry and represents an opportunity to strengthen relationships and build new ones with a likeminded community. Sustainability and the transition to net zero is strategic priority for The Academy and for {10-11} as venue.

Home to The British Academy, {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is a Grade 1 listed building, serving as a versatile setting for conferences, seminars, promotional launches, weddings, fashion shows, filming and academic and business meetings. Each year, the venue hosts more than 500 events for corporate or private clients for 10 to 400 guests.

Catherine Owen, Head of Venue Sales, comments: The British Academy is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do. This applies to the people we fund, our fellowship, how we support the SHAPE disciplines, as well as, of course, our own employees. This commitment of course extends to our commercial activity as an events venue. As an events team we aim to encourage diversity and are working towards a culture of inclusivity, equity and accessibility through training and knowledge sharing.

As part of the tender process, suppliers will need to answer a selection of questions and demonstrate their commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is excited to work with events partners who demonstrate a sincere promise to these areas, and who are actively learning and developing in order to demonstrate best practice within the events industry.

The venue will host two open-house events in February, the first in the morning of Thursday 9th and the second in the afternoon of Wednesday 15th, allowing businesses to meet with the hospitality and events team and find out more about 10-11} Carlton House Terrace. A one-to-one meeting with the team will be the final step in applying to join the accredited list.
